I just had a wild dash up the stairs to bring you this review; that’s how committed I am to the beauty scene. As soon as I saw the Japanfusion Supreme Cream was back in stock, I immediately set aside my browsing on the Rightmove app and rushed to my laptop.
I’ve been delaying this review because every time I wanted to write it, the Supreme Cream was unavailable. But it’s back online now, and it’s fantastic. If you can get used to Beauty Pie’s unique shopping style, you’ll find this is one of the best luxury creams for your money.
The Japanfusion line from Beauty Pie consists of deeply moisturizing skincare products, although the line is quite small. There’s a cleanser, a Hydra-Prep Lotion that hydrates astonishingly well, a Deep-Treatment Serum that’s impressively effective, and the Supreme Cream moisturizer. Each product shows results even when used alone, but together, they create a really intense soothing effect. Used individually, my skin feels plump and hydrated, far from the tight dryness that can come with dehydrated skin.
I’m focusing on the Supreme Cream because it pairs perfectly with retinol and has a delightful texture. It’s a light gel-cream-oil hybrid, both refreshing and substantial, able to keep up with your skincare routine. While you won’t actually massage it in for years, you get the idea.
All Japanfusion products are packed with antioxidants and ingredients to protect the skin’s barrier. The cream locks in moisture, giving your skin a healthy, dewy appearance. I use it over products with retinol or AHAs, or on nights when hydration is my goal. A great combo is the Japanfusion Pure Transforming Cleanser followed by a heavy-duty retinol serum, then topped off with the Supreme Cream for that finishing hydration boost.
This cream is ideal for those with dry skin, even though it isn’t too heavy or buttery. It might be too much for oily skin types, though. For other skin types, including sensitive ones unless you’re allergic to fragrances, it works great.
The purchasing process at Beauty Pie might seem a bit tricky at first. It’s a membership-based model, which means you pay a fee monthly, but the prices are based on what similar luxury products would cost at retail. Basically, you pay for products made in top-quality labs without the big brand markup. There’s a membership fee, and you choose a level based on how much you intend to spend.
If you want to buy the Supreme Cream, you’ll need a membership that lets you spend based on an RRP of £100, despite the cream costing £9.83 for members. You pay £10 in fees each month, plus the product cost and postage. It’s still way cheaper than any luxury cream of similar quality. If you don’t want it every month, you can try other products like tinted moisturizers or serums.
I’ve been really impressed with Beauty Pie’s products, although I wish I could just buy them without any commitments. However, their membership model is clever from a marketing perspective, giving access to top products at lower costs and keeping customers engaged. There’s always something new for beauty enthusiasts to explore. What’s your take on Beauty Pie? I’d love to hear your thoughts after checking out their system and products!
