This post is packed with photos, but I put myself out there, standing in the middle of the road for the shots, so I’m sharing as many as I can without feeling over-the-top. Honestly, only one car passed by while we were outside, so it wasn’t as daring as it might sound. Our area doesn’t even get Dominos, let alone Deliveroo deliveries. Still, I like to pretend there’s a bit of risk for my art.
Anyway, I’m here to introduce the new Hush October collection, which is pretty hard to resist. Now that it’s chilly (even Mr. AMR, aka Dr. Frost, has the log burners going), we’re all looking at our wardrobes for some fresh ideas. So, I’m sorry if this tempts you because I have three amazing coats to show off. Each one can completely invigorate your autumn wardrobe, even if it’s the only thing you buy. I’ve styled these coats into three different looks. I didn’t have time for hair and makeup changes, but I tried to express different vibes with my facial expressions.
First up, check out this furry coat—it’s fabulous! It’s my Sexy Sixties look. I’m layered up with the Lizzy Faux Fur Coat over a cashmere roll neck dress. Warm and cute! This look is so easy; just pull your hair into a low ponytail, and add some foundation and mascara.
Now, about the slouchy boots—they’re not too high and have a pointy toe that instantly sharpens your look. Perfect with tights or skinny jeans. You can find the Lizzy coat, the cashmere dress, and the Selby boots online. The cashmere dress is a great buy; I have an old grey one that goes with everything.
Next, let’s talk about this leather jacket. I jokingly call this look “Next stop Casual Town!” Leather jackets are my go-to until it gets really chilly. The Marlowe Jacket has this cool faux shearling collar, making it softer. The collar is removable, so the jacket works all year. I paired it with a logo t-shirt, trainers, and metallic side-stripe trousers—not just regular joggers. These Dylan trousers are super comfy and can be dressed up with a silk shirt and heels if you want.
Finally, check out my favorite power pose! I’m wearing the smart Pelle Wool Coat, which surprisingly feels heavy but not bulky. It’s like a tailored blanket—perfectly warm. It has a slightly masculine cut, but that’s what makes it cool and chic. Worn over skinny jeans and knitwear, it looks fantastic with wellies or dressed up.
I also wore a Rock ‘n’ Roll jumper, the same slouchy boots as before, and skinny jeans with embroidered stars down the seam. It’s a little detail that always makes me smile. And let’s not overlook the scarf, gently held in my hands in Model Pose 75. Hush has great scarves, and though their leopard print is a classic, their new star scarf is a great alternative. The soft charcoal and pink color combination is very elegant.
You can find the Star scarf, Pelle coat, Bailey jeans, and Rock ‘n’ Roll jumper, plus the boots if you feel inspired. Let me know what catches your eye, and I’ll be back soon with more from Hush. This collaboration is such a joy—I’m a huge fan, willing to stand in the road for it! This post is sponsored by Hush. Check out their new collection online.
