Here’s the video on knitwear layering, as promised. In the photo (from the video’s intro), I’m wearing two of my favorite pieces right now: the Hush Cardigan Coat and my Whistles animal print sweater. You know that great feeling when you find something you’ve been wanting for ages? That’s exactly how I feel about these recent buys—they just bring a warm feeling inside!
For instance, there’s the Donna Karan dress featured in the video. It’s perfect for winter with long sleeves, a stylish drapey top, and a short, fitted skirt. A real classic, and I snagged it at a discount—down from around seven hundred to about one fifty. The quality is undeniable, although I’m not sure I would have paid full price. Then, there’s my new Paige Verdugo black overdye jeans, which aren’t in the video since they were in the wash. They’re incredibly soft, stretchy, and comfortable, even after a big meal, yet they fit perfectly around the bottom and legs. A great fit—you can still grab them at Donna Ida. I have a good feeling about this autumn in terms of style!
Now, onto the video. I hope you like the setting I’ve chosen—the dinosaur park at Crystal Palace! I didn’t know it was there until my sister mentioned it last weekend. It’s such a charming park in a lovely, quiet south London area. I’ve been wanting to film a knitwear video for a while, but this was the first weekend cold enough. The weather was quite changeable on Sunday, yet that’s the beauty of layering knitwear—if it gets too warm, you can just shed a layer! It’s peak cozy dressing.
