Time to give my underwear drawer a little makeover. There’s something delightful about wearing a matching lingerie set in a bold color under cozy autumn layers. Imagine the surprise of a neon orange bra strap peeking out from under a comfy grey cashmere sweater. It’s the little pleasures in life!
I’ve got a list of items sitting in my online shopping carts and wish lists, waiting to replace my plain old knickers, some of which are embarrassingly outdated. I recently discovered a pair from 1997! Here’s what I’m eyeing to add some fun back into my collection:
1) I’ve got eleven pairs of Hanky Panky thongs already. Normally, I’m not a fan of thongs, but these are incredibly comfy. Though they’re pricey, they’re definitely worth it. I’ve tried cheaper versions, but they just didn’t match up in quality.
2) I hesitated before buying this bright yellow Stella McCartney Giselle bra because of the cost, and now my size is sold out! Stella lingerie is my latest obsession, fitting perfectly and giving me the lift and shape I love.
3) The standout green bra from the Margot range in “fluoro lime” caught my eye. I adore its design and can’t wait to hint to Mr. AMR about this perfect birthday or Christmas gift! Plus, the matching pants are fabulous.
4) I just bought a bright blue silk bra from Mimi Holliday. It looks gorgeous, although it might just be the model making it look incredible. If it doesn’t give me the ASOS look, I can always return it.
5) I found a bargain at Boux Avenue with their lacy Chloe bra available in a vibrant tangerine shade. They have a great deal for a bra and matching bottoms set, which I couldn’t pass up.
6) Lastly, for those who prefer less support and more delicacy, there’s this lovely lace option from Triumph. It’s part of the Helena Christensen range, perfect for B or C cups, and the matching briefs are a treat.
