I’ve realized that I haven’t done a thorough review of Ameliorate’s popular Transforming Body Lotion, which is packed with lactic acid. This lotion stands out in a small market of body treatments that do more than just moisturize. Unlike many body scrubs that require effort and often leave a mess, this product works effectively by exfoliating and moisturizing without any greasiness. It’s particularly good for those with dry, rough skin or conditions like keratosis pilaris, commonly known as “chicken skin,” which appears as tiny red bumps on the thighs, arms, or back.
For addressing keratosis pilaris, gentle, non-abrasive exfoliation is essential, and that’s exactly what the lactic acid in Ameliorate provides. Unlike manual scrubs that can be harsh and are often ineffective for deeper skin issues, this lotion works at a deeper level. Although not particularly luxurious and somewhat runny with a yoghurty scent, it’s highly effective. It’s like a fitness boot camp in a bottle, delivering real results rather than a pamper session.
If you’re still interested in manual scrubbing, that’s fine, but if you’re looking for something that offers deep-down results without the hassle, give Ameliorate Transforming Body Lotion a try. It’s available at SpaceNK or Amazon, and I’m currently testing their bath milk too, so stay tuned for more insights.
