You get the gist by now: it’s another one of my real-time clothing try-ons, featuring my latest haul from the always-reliable Hush Homewear. The order wouldn’t have been huge, but I need to get everything in both size 10 and 12 because I’m usually in between those sizes and can never predict how the fit will be. Generally, I find that Hush tends to run slightly generous, so I’m often a size 10. There was one dress, though, that was a close call—I decided to keep it and have been spending the week sucking in my stomach so the middle button doesn’t pop off!
Anyway, here’s the try-on. Just so you know, I kept the pink cashmere sweater (it’s a fantastic shade of pink—really uplifting without being too cutesy) and the Sophie star dress. It’s a rare occasion when I find a cashmere sweater with a low-ish v-neck, so I always jump at the chance. These v-necks work well over dresses and shirts, unlike a high round-neck, which can sometimes look a bit too tight or old-fashioned.
