After trying out the UGG Shezbies and my newly acquired Savoie boots, I can confidently say that UGG makes the most comfortable high heels around. My Shezbies have seen plenty of action, taking me across buses and tube escalators—which I would never have dared in high heels before. Navigating London requires quick, nimble feet to avoid obstacles like rolling suitcases and kids, so I always opted for flats and changed into heels for meetings or events. But the Shezbies have been a game-changer. They’re not only super high but also come with a cozy sheepskin lining and brilliant cushioning, making them almost as comfy as slippers.
These Shezbies are currently on sale at UGG, along with two other pairs I’m about to mention. I would grab a pair in brown if my shopping spree hadn’t already pushed the limits! They fit true to size; I usually wear a UK size 6.
The Savoie boots, my latest addition, are another delight. I doubted they could match the comfort of the Shezbies—but they do, and maybe even surpass them. The extra boot height provides more stability, and the leather and sheepskin lining are soft and warm. The only minor issue is that the lining adds a bit of bulk, making the calf fit not as slim, but it’s a small price for comfort and warmth. These boots are also discounted right now.
Finally, I got the Esplanade Croco flats because I needed something suitable for walking around my new village. My previous choices were a bit too fancy for the terrain and ended up ruined. The Esplanade Crocos have a bit of flair and make me feel somewhat like a mix between a farmer and a Vegas showman. They start off snug, but after a day of wearing them at home, they stretched to fit comfortably. They don’t have the sheepskin lining of the others, but they offer a sleek look and a neater silhouette. You can find these on sale in the UGG collection as well.
