I just can’t shake my online shopping habit these days, often passing the time by planning my summer wardrobe. I’m pretty excited because by the end of this week, I’ll have a new figure to dress, after months of wearing the same old outfits. Finally, I’ll get to wear jumpers, shirts, and actual trousers that aren’t leggings! If I have time, I might even create a lookbook video in the next few months. Here’s what I have in my cart from the Very Exclusive Sale—mostly summer goodies, but also a few gems for autumn and winter. I’ve had my eye on a faux-fur gilet and a chic evening dress. With discounts up to 60%, there’s a lot to love until the sale ends on June 30th.
First on my list—denim shorts. Right now, I need separates instead of dresses, and denim shorts are great for pairing with vest tops and jumpers. But finding the right ones is a challenge because I just can’t do hot-pants! These Boyfriend Shorts from Rag & Bone are perfect in length and have that pre-distressed look I like. They’re £64, down from £160.
When it comes to pairing with denim, I love navy or grey. So I couldn’t resist a heart-print design. Cocoa Cashmere’s quality is fantastic, and at £62, it’s quite a bargain. It’s a long-term investment piece, or at least that’s how I justify it.
For a simple yet flattering t-shirt, I’m leaning toward the Zoe Karssen style. It has a soft fabric and a nice drape that’s flattering in all the right places. A starry print is a fun switch from my usual bat t-shirts, and this pink version is £30.
My pick for the perfect investment dress is a beautifully-cut black piece from By Malene Birger. I already own another dress from the same designer, and it’s incredibly versatile. Though tempted by a McQ design, I think the Malene Birger dress will suit smart, chic events better. Plus, it seems forgiving around the tummy area! It’s marked down to £107 from £215.
For outerwear, I’m eyeing a faux-fur gilet from Unreal Fur. I’ve been wanting one for a while and finally might get it. It would be perfect over a black jumper, especially for the transition from summer to autumn. It’s available for £70, down from £140.
I’m smitten with this Missoni bag, featuring lurex and a chain strap. It’s got a seventies vibe and offers a refreshing change from leather for the summer months. The logo tag is not my favorite, but that can be taken care of! It’s down to £170 from £340. There’s also a smaller clutch version at £84.
Lastly, I might just give in to this leopard t-shirt from Joseph. With the price now below £100 thanks to a 60% discount, it’s tempting. Normally, I wouldn’t spend so much on a t-shirt, but I’ve lost my favorite one and haven’t found a better replacement. This one, made from 100% cashmere, isn’t just a tee but quite a luxurious piece that would pair beautifully with a pencil skirt or jeans. It’s £98.
Oh, and I noticed Paige’s specially-adapted Verdugo maternity jeans are in the sale. I mentioned them in a post before when they were £210, but now they’re just £84!
