The Spring Lookbook has arrived! I’ve put together some of my favorite outfits and showcased them in a video. It’s like a moving photoshoot, and I hope you enjoy it. It took a full day to film and another full day to edit. If you like it, feel free to give it a thumbs-up, tweet it, or share it however you like. If this video is well-received, I plan to create a Lookbook video every season, possibly with some additional trend features in between.
I’ve been sneaking in some fashion previews on the website since last week, so you may have already seen a few outfits, while others will be a delightful surprise! Share your favorites in the comments. Personally, I’m fond of Look 1 which features sports-luxe trousers paired with a lovely cashmere cardigan, but I also like the teal shirt from Hush with a floral print skirt in another outfit.
I’m enjoying experimenting with clashing patterns and adding a splash of color to my wardrobe. It’s my way of getting out of the usual “black, grey, and neutrals” routine. Although there’s nothing wrong with those colors, trying new fashion ideas is quite refreshing for a habitual dresser like me.
Here’s a quick note: the fabulous French 65 court shoes from Whistles, featured in Look 2, are on sale from £135 to £94.50. They’re stylish and surprisingly easy to walk in, though not as comfy as L.K. Bennett’s black and white Jennie shoes. Unfortunately, it took me a while to gather the clothes and make the video, so some items, like the duck-egg blue Topshop jumper and the silk printed shorts, are no longer available online. They sold out quickly, but you might still find them in stores.
Now, if you’re ready, grab a cup of tea or your favorite drink, and let’s dive in! If you can’t see the video player here, click to watch the Lookbook in a new window.
