I’ve been busy with fashion shoots and videos lately, so forgive the sudden surge of style posts! I’ll try to mix in some beauty content too, since I know some of you really miss it. But these boots are just too fabulous not to mention, and I have a feeling they’re going to be a hit, so I want to talk about them early. The “Leona” boots are from LK Bennett’s new season collection. They’re solidly built, well-crafted, and surprisingly comfy. I put them through the “Ruth Crilly Heel Test” and managed to handle the following: three brisk walks totalling about a mile, a bumpy and pothole-filled path, and about twenty seconds of that awkward run-walk you do when you’re about to miss the bus. Overall: GOOD. They look quite high and stylish, yet you can easily go about your daily tasks in them without worrying about teetering on the escalator or losing your balance on the tube.
I initially noticed these boots because they reminded me of a Chloe pair I saw about a year ago. I tried those Chloe boots on but hesitated, and by the time I decided to buy them, they were gone. LK Bennett’s Leona boots cost nearly half as much, are easier to walk in, and feature the same strappy and buckled look that I adored on the Chloe ones. They strike the perfect balance between comfortable and sexy—tall enough to make you feel powerful, yet with a chunky heel that keeps you steady while walking around town. You can find the Leonas at LK Bennett.
