It might feel like an odd time to be making a beauty favorites video, but skipping it after all the talk last month about my top picks coming back would be even stranger. I even joked about how I couldn’t quit my favorites, so leaving it at that just wasn’t possible.
I’ve got just five favorites to share this time—it’s not a massive list, but these are real winners that could brighten anyone’s routine once things are a bit calmer. The handwash is especially relevant—it’s affordable, doesn’t dry out your hands, and even supports charity. Plus, I think any of my picks this month would be useful in some way.
There’s a warm, comforting fragrance that feels like a hug in a bottle, a cleanser with aromatherapy benefits, and an eye cream for those exhausted eyes from too much screen time.
If you’re not up for watching the video, I’ve got a new format for you! Instead of just listing the products, there’s a mini review of each one. It’s more like a blog post and perfect for those of you who prefer reading over watching videos. Hope you like it!
Now, on to my mini reviews. I’ve got some old favorites and new ones here, just like a wedding—except there’s nothing borrowed or blue.
1. Neal’s Yard Remedies Frankincense Cleanser (£21): If you have oily or combination skin and have stayed away from cream or oil cleansers, give this one a shot. It’s rich and creamy but leaves your skin feeling refined and slightly tightened without any leftover residue. Neal’s Yard is great with frankincense, making this more of a de-stressing treat than a boring cleanse. I’ve loved this cleanser for years.
2. Soaper Duper Handwashes: Who knew I’d be raving about handwashes? But with frequent handwashing, it’s worth picking good ones. Soaper Duper offers various scents, like a fresh, green Tuberose, and they support good causes like Water Aid. Big bottles and a non-drying formula—these are among the best.
3. Kiehl’s Line Reducing Eye Serum (£41): You might remember the Vitamin C face serum I talked about ages ago, well, there’s now an eye version, and it’s just as great. It’s perfect if you’re after a more potent option instead of a light gel or a cooling cream. It’s thick and dry, ideal if you want a rich cream without the grease. The original serum has been reformulated to be even stronger now.
4. Charlotte Tilbury Copper Charge Eye Palette (£40): I’ve got an IGTV coming soon on this—it’s just a casual demo of how the palette looks in various lights. I love CT eye quads for their great pigment and ease of blending. The Copper Charge palette enhances your eye color, making blue eyes pop even more. Just use it carefully to avoid looking too pink-eyed. Keep an eye out for the IGTV video link here soon!
5. Molton Brown Milk Musk (starting at £65): I wasn’t sure about the name of this range, but the scent is absolutely wonderful. It’s like wrapping yourself up in a cozy setting perfect for a Hygge shoot—all faux furs, cashmere throws, and flickering lights. The scent is warm and exotic with a rich, musky, tonka bean base, and the parfum has a fresh, greenish twist. Another success from Molton Brown; they keep hitting the mark, especially after their Geranium Nefertum fragrance!
