This video showcases my wardrobe must-haves, like coats, shoes, jewelry, and reliable jeans. If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ve probably seen these items before, but I thought a recap of my favorite, most-used pieces might be helpful. I’m planning a major wardrobe cleanout soon, so I’ve been assessing which items I wear often and those that were bad buys.
As time goes on, I make fewer mistakes when shopping for clothes, though I still can’t resist a sale. If something is marked down from £1800 to £85, I feel compelled to buy it, even if it’s just a crumpled piece of fabric. However, I’ve improved at resisting these temptations—check out my blog post with tips on shopping sales. They genuinely help! Recently, at Bicester Village, I experienced the familiar thrill of snagging a “bargain,” but then I questioned whether I would have bought any of it at full price. That’s the real test: is it genuinely nice, or just nicely priced? Are lime green McQueen cigarette pants something you’d ever wear, or do you just want some high fashion at a discount?
I’m missing my Krieger Tennis Bracelet featured in the video. It was on loan for London Fashion Week, and the courier picked it up recently. I got used to seeing its sparkle on my wrist. Though sad to say goodbye, I’m grateful for the chance to wear it.
I’ve rambled enough—watch the video below or click the link if you’re reading via email subscription. Some brief details about the items in the video are noted below, but most aren’t currently available as they aren’t new.
My cashmere trench coat is from Burberry, and the leather jacket is from Whistles. You can find the leather ballet pumps at Office. The nude shoes are from LK Bennett, the boots are from Belstaff, and I’m pretty sure the bag is a Mulberry Daria. Jewelry includes diamond and platinum earrings, an engagement ring from Tiffany, a wedding band from Kojis, and the Krieger tennis bracelet, which was on loan.
Special thanks to PGI for arranging the loan of amazing platinum jewelry for my events and videos this month; it’s truly a treat!
